2021年に現役ロサンゼルス警察官が設立したNPO団体 LOVE SPECTRUMは、世界各国で問題になっている人身売買による被害を減らし、いずれは人身売買撲滅が可能になるよう活動を行なっています。
人身売買は世界でもトップ3に入る極悪犯罪の一つです。
人権を奪い精神的に追いつめるケースが非常に多くの場合、被害者は声を上げる事ができません。
被害者の声を代わりに届けたい、届かない声を発信し続ける事でもっと人身売買に関する理解や知識を広めることが可能になると思います。
警察官として培った知識と経験、そして連邦や警察署との繋がりを大切にしながら被害者を支えるためのシェルターを設立することを目標としています。

Meaning of LOVE SPECTRUM
To provide an umbrella to an individual in need, which protects them from rain, and later sheds light on the spectrum of love.

Founder / President
After moving to the United States at the age of 18, she joined the LAPD Academy in 2014. She is currently an active police officer patrolling the city of Los Angeles in the vicinity of LAX, while being a mother of 2 children. In 2021, she established LOVE SPECTRUM to eradicate human trafficking while she disseminates information via SNS.
She gives lectures and presentations to spread the awareness of human trafficking in various states and globally.
18歳で渡米後、2014年にLos Angeles Police Department の警察学校に入学し無事卒業。
現役警察官としてロ サンゼルス近郊のパトロールを行う二児の母。
SNSにより情報発信しながら2021年、人身売買撲滅の ためLOVE SPECTRUM設立。
アメリカ各地で講演会などを行っている。

After moving to the United States with her family at the younger age, she grew up as a bilingual while receiving education in the United States. After graduating from community college in 2006, she gained work experience at Japanese companies and medical institutions. Being a mother of 2 children, she has graduated from nursing school in 2020 and currently working as a Registered Nurse.
幼少の頃、家族と共に渡米した後、アメリカ現地の教育を受けながらバイリンガルとして育つ。2006年に短大卒業後、日 系企業や医療機関にて勤務経験を積む。
二児の母として育児奮闘しながらも、2020年には看護学校を卒業し、現 在も正看護師として勤務中。
TRICIA TOSHIMI KONISHI (小西 俊美)

She has graduated from accounting school in Japan.
After moving to the United States at the age of 26, she succeeded as a business owner of Japanese izakaya style restaurant. After 12 years of self-employed experience, she has gained further experience as an accountant at a Japanese firm.
日本で経理専門学校を卒業。
26歳で渡米後、居酒屋経営者として成功を収めた。
12年もの自営業の経験を積んだ 後、日経会社の経理担当として更なる経験を積む。
Misconception about human trafficking
人身売買に関する一般的な誤解
Myth: Human trafficking does not occur in the United States. It only happens in poor countries. 誤解：人身売買はアメリカ合衆国で起こらず、他の貧しい国などで起こります。
Fact: Human trafficking exists in every country, including the United States. It exists nationwide—in cities, suburbs, and rural towns—and possibly in your own community.
事実：人身売買は、アメリカを含むすべての国に存在します。全国的に、都市、郊外、おそらくあなた の暮らす地域にも存在します。
Myth: Human trafficking victims are only foreign born individuals and those who are poor. 誤解：人身売買の被害者は、外国生まれの貧しい人々。
Fact: Human trafficking victims can be any age, race, gender, or nationality. They may come from any socioeconomic group.
事実：社会的地位、環境、国籍、年齢、人種、性別とは無関係に人身売買の被害者は存在します。
Myth: Human trafficking is only sex trafficking. 誤解：人身売買は性的人身売買のことを指す。
Fact: Sex trafficking exists, but it is not the only type of human trafficking. Forced labor is another type of human trafficking; both involve exploitation of people. Victims are found in legitimate and illegitimate labor industries, including sweatshops, massage parlors, agriculture, restaurants, hotels, and domestic service.
事実：性的人身売買は存在しますが、人身売買の種類はそれだけではありません。強制労働は人身売買の代表的な一つでもあります。どちらも人の強制搾取を伴います。 被害者は、工場、農業、マッサージパーラー（違法風俗店）、レストラン、ホテル、国内サービスな ど、合法および非合法の労働で見られます。
Myth: Individuals must be forced or coerced into commercial sex acts to be victims of human trafficking. 誤解：人身売買の被害者は、性行為を強制されています。
Fact: Under U.S. federal law, any minor under the age of 18 who is induced to perform commercial sex acts is a victim of human trafficking, regardless of whether he or she is forced or coerced.
事実：米国連邦法では、18歳未満の未成年者が性行為を行うように誘導された場合、強制でなかっ た場合でも人身売買の被害者となります。
Myth: Human trafficking and human smuggling are the same. 誤解：人身売買と密入国は同じです。
Fact: Human trafficking is not the same as smuggling.
“Trafficking” is based on exploitation and does not require movement across borders. “Smuggling” is based on movement and involves moving a person across a country’s border with that person’s consent in violation of immigration laws. Although human smuggling is very different from human trafficking, human smuggling can turn into trafficking if the smuggler uses force, fraud, or coercion to hold people against their will for the purposes of labor or sexual exploitation. Under federal law, every minor induced to engage in commercial sex is a victim of human trafficking.

Fact: Human trafficking is often a hidden crime. Victims may be afraid to come forward and get help; they may be forced or coerced through threats or violence; they may fear retribution from traffickers, including danger to their families; and they may not be in possession of or have control of their identification documents.
